We continue to improve, optimize, and produce new products, starting from the conception of new ideas to low-cost prototyping, productization, and secure delivery pipelines. We provide secure, resilient solutions that enable self-hosted or hybrid Cloud capabilities in deployed national security critical platforms. Cloud and serverless architectures, Platforms as a Service (PaaS), Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), automated data mediation and DoD-compliant continuous delivery/continuous integration/continuous verification (CD/CI/CV ) are just some of the ways we stay at the forefront of innovation.

Acoustic Testing Facility

Progeny Systems owns and operates an open water acoustic test barge that is permanently moored in the Bay State Quarry in Gloucester, Massachusetts. Our facility is outfitted with a modern instrumentation suite, L20 amplifier, and reference projectors and hydrophones to perform a full spectrum of high and low frequency acoustic measurements. The building is climate controlled and useable year round as the surrounding water is kept ice free in winter.
Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning
One of our R&D focus areas is Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning (AI/ML), which encompasses computer vision, biometrics, machine perception, and autonomy. We develop the core algorithms, supporting infrastructure, and user interfaces, and we support the integration, testing, and transition to end users. These technologies are designed to be flexible and can be adapted to a wide range of applications and use cases with a focus on real-time processing and performing analytics at/near the “edge"—the sensor or source of the data.
Algorithms for detecting, tracking, classifying, characterizing, and re-identifying objects in
multi-source image & video sources from any viewpoint.
Suite of tools for supporting capabilities including annotation of image/video datasets for algorithm training; a graph execution framework that allows for a high degree of customization; and a container-based microservices architecture for rapid, cross-platform deployments.
Intuitive, application-specific user interfaces maximize the value of automated analytics and provide a feedback mechanism for data to improve the underlying AI/ML techniques and core services.
